This is believed to be taken in front of Zion Smith's house on the Coosa
River about 1871-72.
We think that the people are: Solomon Smith, James Aiken Smith, Amanda

Photo belonged to Georgia Ann (Pilkington) Abrams.
Georgia and Jim Abrams were living in Acmar in 1930 and we are thrilled
to be able to
share a photo of the Acmar schoolhouse and all the students, circa
1927.
Florene Abrams Brazier is about eleven years old in the photo; J.R.
Abrams is about eight.
Hopefully, some of the "old timers" will be able to tell us who some
of these folks are.
